Creek Fest 2016 - Saturday, May 7, 10AM - 2PM

Bayou ChattiqueThe event will be a free, family-friendly celebration including a cane pole fishing tournament (16 and under), live music from Eric Erdman, door prizes and educational exhibits.  Please join us along with Boy & Girl Scouts of America, Mobile BayKeepers, Keep Mobile Beautiful, Mobile Bay Convention and Visitors Bureau, Dauphin Island Sea Lab, Gulf Quest, MAWSS, The Mobile BayBears and others in this celebration!

The event will include a cane pole fishing tournament for ages 16 and under, along with other family-friendly activities. Live music, food and kayak rides also will be part of the half-day event as the natural beauty of one of Mobile’s historic waterways is showcased. Three Mile Creek was the city’s first source of drinking water.

There also will be opportunities for area Boy Scouts to earn merit badges.
